Your symptoms seem to be due to a drop in hormone levels (Estrogen, Progesterone). You should see a BHRT doctor for an assessment. Not covered by OHIP but do it before your symptoms become worse. Or see an OBGYN (OHIP covered) to get hormone tests done. High BP and Hypothyroidism are signals that something is wrong. Something lacking in the body. Your OHIP MD will not say this because it's easier and more $$ for them if they just prescribe you a drug. ND's similar - they'll prescribe supplements. Listen to Dr. Marie Claire Haver and Dr. Susan Hardwick-Smith especially if you are in Peri or Post-menopause.
Very disappointed. Doctor recommended me to take Thiroid Plus, as I diagnosed with hypothyroidism and high blood pressure. After two month of use I felt bad.(mental fog, nosy brain, heavy, tense head).I did blood test with show me that my TSH became higher than befor use of Thyroid Plus.
