Carlson Norwegian Cod Liver Oil in natural flavour has received numerous awards for its taste and quality. To ensure maximum freshness, we closely manage our omega-3 Cod Liver Oil from sea to store. We source the highest quality, deep, cold water fish off the coast of Norway using traditional, sustainable methods. The same day they're caught, our fish are transported to a highly-regulated Norwegian facility for processing and purification.
Carlson Cod Liver Oil is bottled with a touch of natural vitamin E and excess oxygen is removed to prevent oxidation. It's then shipped to us and is tested by an independent, FDA-registered laboratory for freshness, potency, and purity. Each teaspoon of liquid Cod Liver Oil contains 1,100 mg of omega-3s, providing vitamins A and D, as well as EPA and DHA, which helps support cognitive health and maintain eyesight, skin membranes, and immune function.

I find it easy to take and am delighted that I have a great source to purchase it from. A great natural source of Vit D and omegas!!
The Lemon flavoured Cod Liver Oil is much better than the Natural Cod Liver Oil, which repeats on you (unless you don’t eat other food right after taking it). I’m sure it is still as beneficial though.
It is intended to help support cognitive health and help maintain eyesight, skin membranes, and immune function. It also provides omega-3 fatty acids along with vitamins A and D in each teaspoon.
Adults should take one teaspoon, equal to 5 mL, once daily at mealtime. The 5 mL serving is also the basis used for the listed amounts of cod liver oil, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamins.
Each 5 mL serving provides 4.6 g of Norwegian cod liver oil and 1,100 mg of total omega-3 fatty acids. The omega-3s are reported as triglycerides, with DHA, EPA, and DPA listed separately.
One 5 mL teaspoon provides 500 mg of DHA, 370 mg of EPA, and 50 mg of DPA. These amounts are included within the stated 1,100 mg of total omega-3 fatty acids per serving.
Each serving provides 255 mcg RAE of vitamin A, 10 mcg of vitamin D, and 6.7 mg of vitamin E. Vitamin A comes from cod liver oil and retinyl palmitate, while vitamin D comes from cod liver oil and cholecalciferol.
Yes. It contains fish, specifically cod, because Norwegian cod liver oil is the main ingredient. Anyone who needs to avoid fish should consider this allergen information before using the supplement.
The only listed non-medicinal ingredient is natural mixed tocopherols. These accompany the Norwegian cod liver oil, while vitamins A, D, and E and the specified omega-3 fatty acids are listed as components of the formula.
Refrigerate the bottle after opening and use the cod liver oil within 100 days. These storage directions apply once the bottle has been opened and are intended to be followed throughout the remaining period of use.
The cod liver oil is processed and bottled in Norway, and the product is described as having freshness, potency, and purity guaranteed. It is also identified as molecularly distilled and nitrogen flushed, with independent testing for freshness, potency, and purity.
Each 5 mL serving provides 40 calories and 4.5 g of total fat, including 0.5 g of saturated fat. It also contains 15 mg of cholesterol alongside the Norwegian cod liver oil and omega-3 fatty acids.
