Place ½–1 teaspoon of matcha in a cup or ceremonial bowl. Add 60–90 mL (2–3 oz) of water heated to approximately 80°C (176°F), then whisk quickly in a zigzag motion until frothy. Add more water if desired, up to 240 mL (8 oz).
