Great iron supplement

I took these because I needed an iron supplement and they have done a great job. I take three pills a day as directed and I’ve had no constipation or any side effects and my iron levels have been where they need to be. Win!

About NFH Heme Iron SAP 60 Vegan Capsules

Dietary iron is found in two forms, heme, and nonheme iron. Heme iron is a highly bioavailable form of iron. Heme iron is isolated from animal sources such as meat, poultry, and fish. Heme iron is well absorbed, nonheme iron, which accounts for the majority of the iron in plants is less absorbed. More than 95% of functional iron in the human body is in the form of heme. Heme iron is not associated with common side effects of elemental (nonheme) iron supplementation such as constipation, nausea, and gastrointestinal upset.

Vitamin C 90 mg
Folate (from calcium ʟ‑5‑methyltetrahydrofolate) 333 mcg
Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) 333 mcg

Suggested Use

Adults: Take 3 capsules once daily with a full glass of water, or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking this product. If you are taking other medications, take this product a few hours before or after them. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 7 weeks. Consult a health-care practitioner to monitor blood iron content.
