Osteo SAP

Have been using for years. Recommended by my Nature Path. Highly recommend.

I believe they have a limited value as per my email inquiry. I will be taking a reduced dosage to continue with the limited benefit, and confirmed with my Naturopath. As per my medical specialist, and confirmed by your expert staff, expected benefit was around 4%, if that, over an 18 month period. At age 84, I don't see any long term benefit and it is too costly to continue with higher dosage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Osteo SAP intended to support?

Osteo SAP is intended to support bone health. It also helps in the development and maintenance of bones, teeth, cartilage, and gums. Calcium intake, combined with sufficient vitamin D, a healthy diet, and regular exercise, may reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis.

How should adults take Osteo SAP?

Adults are directed to take two capsules three times daily with food. Following the standard suggested use equals six capsules per day. If a healthcare practitioner provides different instructions, customers should follow the practitioner-directed use instead.

What should I know if I take other medications?

If you are taking other medications, take Osteo SAP a few hours before or after them. This timing instruction is specifically included with the suggested use and is an important precaution for customers who use medications alongside the supplement.

How much calcium hydroxyapatite is provided per capsule?

Each capsule provides 583.33 mg of freeze-dried calcium hydroxyapatite. From this ingredient, the formula supplies 145.83 mg of calcium, 72.83 mg of phosphorus, and 145.83 mg of protein per capsule.

Where does the calcium hydroxyapatite come from?

The calcium hydroxyapatite is sourced from New Zealand beef. It is stated to be guaranteed free of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or BSE, and recombinant bovine growth hormone, or rBGH, which is important for customers checking animal-derived ingredient sources.

What other minerals are included besides calcium and phosphorus?

Each capsule also provides 72.83 mg of magnesium from magnesium bisglycinate, 1.67 mg of zinc from zinc picolinate, 500 mcg of manganese from manganese citrate, and 167 mcg of copper from copper gluconate.

Does Osteo SAP contain vitamins D3 and K2?

Each capsule contains 4.17 mcg, or 166.67 IU, of vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol and 16.67 mcg of vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7. Vitamin D is stated to help with the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus.

What other ingredients are included for bone-health support?

The formula also includes vitamin C, horsetail standardized to 7% silica, L-taurine, glutamic acid hydrochloride, zinc, manganese, copper, magnesium, vitamin D3, and vitamin K2 alongside calcium hydroxyapatite, calcium, phosphorus, and protein.

Is Osteo SAP suitable for someone avoiding animal-derived ingredients?

Osteo SAP is not completely plant-based because its calcium hydroxyapatite is derived from New Zealand beef. Although the capsule itself is vegetable-based, customers avoiding animal-derived ingredients should note that the medicinal formula contains a bovine-derived ingredient.

Is there any quality-testing information for the ingredients?

All ingredients are stated to have been tested by a third-party laboratory for identity, potency, and purity. This provides specific quality-testing information without adding claims about certifications, manufacturing standards, or laboratory procedures that are not otherwise provided.
