MSPrebiotic Supplements Online

It all started on a family farm in Carberry Manitoba with two brothers, Derek and Earl McLaren. In 2013, they launched their clinical trial conducted by the University of Manitoba at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg.

MSPrebiotic was shown to improve digestive function and promote the growth of beneficial Bifidobacteria in the gut microbiome. Seeing that the clinical trial proved successful with positive outcomes, in 2014, MSPrebiotic launched in the Natural Health Industry and is available in stores across Canada.

FAQ

What Is Resistant Starch?

Resistant starch is the most widely consumed prebiotic in history which is found in certain fruits, vegetables, and grains. Resistant starch restores an important part of ancestral diets that get lost due to processing, heating and preferences that characterize a modern diet. Resistant Starch refers to all starches that are not digested by the time they reach the large intestine. Keep in mind not every fibre has a prebiotic effect and not every prebiotic is a fibre, but MSPrebiotic does and is!

What Is MSPrebiotic?

MSPrebiotic is a prebiotic that feeds the healthy bacteria of our gut microbiome. MSPrebiotic is a Resistant Starch (RS2) prebiotic, which is naturally extracted from potatoes. This single-ingredient flavourless powder contains 7g of insoluble fibre per each 10g scoop.

What Does MSPrebiotic Do?

MSPrebiotic stimulates the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut while reducing pathogens. Both “Good” (healthy) bacteria and “Bad” (pathogenic) bacteria reside in the microbiome of the gut. MSPrebiotic is the food for the healthy bacteria in our gut, helping them to thrive and in the process crowd out the bad. Feeding your own personal strains of good bacteria is key to why our product works so well and quickly to improve digestion and support regularity. Supported by over a decade of clinical research demonstrating increases of endogenous healthy bacteria and butyrate (energy for the body).

What Is the Difference Between Probiotics and Prebiotics?

Probiotics are the healthy beneficial bacteria in the microbiome of the gut, and can be consumed in food or supplement form. Prebiotics are a special type of dietary fibre that resist digestion and feed the good bacteria that occur naturally in the gut, which is key! Everyone’s gut microbiome is different, and one strain of beneficial bacteria may thrive in one person but not in another. When you feed your own personal strains of good bacteria you are working with what you have which can prove more effective than just probiotics alone.
